We are a family owned company since the mid 1920's, initially specializing in hauling and trucking. Ralph Ray Stowe was born in 1902. He purchased his first truck in 1923 and began the business "R.R. Stowe General Trucking Contractor". He owned dump trucks, live stock trucks and flat bed trucks. Ralph specialized in hauling complete households - including the house - gravel, coal and livestock.
In the early 1930's Ralph built and owned the first tractor/trailer in Warren County. During the war years, Ralph was commissioned by the government to haul war materials to Jackson, Ohio. Ralph's son, Vance Stowe, joined the family business until he was drafted in the 1950's to the U.S. Army. When Vance returned to Lebanon in the 1960's he continued the family trucking business. He then married and had two sons. Vance continued in the hauling business and began buying and selling equipment as well. His oldest son Clint Stowe, started going with Vance to auctions to buy equipment, and also rode along with him as he hauled equipment. Clint's love of trucks and equipment grew fast. As a teenager he started working on trucks and equipment. Clint then transitioned into owning his own business. Clint's brother, Mark Stowe, joined him in the buying, selling and re-marketing of equipment.
The C.E. Stowe Company now specializes in the recovery and management of assets, buying, selling, and auctioning of equipment, towing, and SBA liquidations.
"I knew what I wanted to do at an early age. It has taken a few years to fall into place, but I am now doing what I've always wanted to do - buy and sell equipment and towing and recovery of collateral. I love what I do and look forward to working with you in the business of marketing equipment, collecting collateral, and repossession and towing of vehicles and heavy equipment."
